MINING LEGENDS CHARITY REBUILD – CAT R2900 UNDERGROUND LOADER

The old saying “Many hands make light work” rings true with the Mining Legends charity CAT R2900G charity rebuild project.

Created by a seed planted in the mind of Worthy Parts Director – Michael Worthington brought his vision:

AIM

To do a complete zero hour rebuild of a CAT R2900G Loader by receiving donations from service providers from around Australia, so that the machine can be sold to a mining company, and all profits be donated to organisations benefiting mining communities around Australia.

MISSION

To bring the WPIL network together to complete a charity rebuild project to benefit the wider mining community, creating positive impact from the result of hard-working, dedicated and loyal industry personnel.

PURPOSE

To provide families within mining communities around Australia support at their time of need.

PURCHASE OF THE MACHINE

The success of the Mining Legends charity rebuild project has been guaranteed by KCGM contracted to purchase the machine.

The sale of the machine was conducted under normal procurement procedures of any machine purchased by KCGM.

The project will directly benefit the local communities of mining regions.
